Exactly 2 years ago, we faced the worst crisis in our lives, when Covid-19 hit us. It was an uncertain time with strict guidelines and limited movement. And the situation today has not entirely become normal. In this situation, it was very easy to say to the management, that the business will suffer as organizations were closed/partially closed. But getting inspired by our Founder, I felt that we need to face this crisis bravely, keep thinking innovatively, and change our approach so that business also should not suffer. We changed our vertical approach strategy and started approaching new verticals for business leads such as pharmaceutical organizations for Digitization of MES application in Assembly lines by our Toughbook devices. As our Toughbook devices have an in-built barcode Reader & can be used for 24 x 7 operations, customers appreciated our proposition and invited us to do demos & POC (Proof of Concepts) in their respective plants. We met plant heads, IT team, Quality, R&D teams in each organization either through video conferencing or face-to-face discussion. In the last 2 years, after a lot of effort, we acquired the top 20 customers in the pharmaceutical vertical in India & this vertical has given maximum revenue. In spite of the pandemic, our Toughbook team did record sales last year in both top line and bottom-line figures.
